The dairy was originally founded by Robert Bruckner in 1955 at Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire. The company has since moved to Dartmouth in South Devon and is still run by the Bruckner family. The dairy has a customer base of nearly 3000 (mixed retail and wholesale) with a turnover in excess of £1m annually. The company believes in good old fashioned service in a modern environment, customer satisfaction being the most important policy. The Company currently employs 10 roundsman, all local people who care about the local enviroment and their customers. The South Hams area of South Devon is without doubt one of the most unspoilt areas in the country extending from Dartmouth and Salcombe in the south, right up to the edge of Dartmoor in the North. The Dairy covers most of this area as well as milk they also deliver a full range of dairy products, most of which are sourced locally. For example: Clotted Cream, Eggs, Potatoes, Fruit Juice, Pop, Butter, Cheese, Bread and much more. We have a strong sense of community and the company sponsers many of the local charities, including the R.N.I.B. and the R.N.L.I. |
